APPLICATION TIPS FOR OPTIMAL RESULTS

For best results, apply multiple very light coats, as lighter applications result in a more brilliant finish. Proper surface preparation is crucial; we recommend using Spaz Stix SPZ 90059 surface prep to eliminate mold release agents and water marks prior to painting.

SPECIFICALLY FORMULATED FOR POLYCARBONATE BODIES

This unique paint is designed for use on polycarbonate R/C car and truck bodies, applied from the inside to shine through the clear plastic. For the desired durability and effect, it must be backed with Spaz Stix Ultimate Black Backer (SZX10200 or SZX10209). Without this backing, the paint may easily wipe away.

EXTERNAL APPLICATION GUIDELINES

If you intend to use Red Mirror Chrome on surfaces other than polycarbonate, ensure it is applied over a base coat of the Ultimate Black Backer. To preserve the chrome effect, a layer of Spaz Stix Ultimate Clear Coat (SZX10900 or SZX10909) must be applied carefully, using very light coats with sufficient drying time between each application.

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT

Achieving the full reflective quality of this paint can be challenging when used externally. It is advisable to practice on a scrap piece before final application to your project.
