The RC4WD Ultra Compact 4:1 Gear Reduction Unit (Model: RC4Z-U0012) is engineered for efficiency, allowing for decrease in speed while increasing torque. This is an essential component designed to fit any standard 540 motor in RC trucks, cars, robots, airplanes, and boats, provided there's enough space for an extra length of 0.7 inches (18mm).

Crafted from CNC machined high precision aluminum housing and incorporating stainless hardened steel micro internal gears, this gear reduction unit is built to last. Custom-made pinion gears ensure compatibility and reliability, while the universal design accommodates any 540 motor.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR OPTIMAL USAGE

This gear reduction unit features a gear reduction ratio of 4:1 with an overall diameter of 36mm and a length of 18mm (0.7 inches). The output shaft has an outer diameter of 0.12 inches (3.2mm) that includes a flat surface for mounting standard RC pinion gears, making it a practical solution for any RC setup.

Inside the package, you will find the RC4WD Ultra Compact Gear Reduction Unit and a steel pinion gear. Please note that due to the added length of the unit, longer motor mounting screws will be required, such as two M3 46mm long screws for installation on a Tamiya clod axle.
