This is a Fascinations FASICX101 RX-78-2 Gundam Mobile Suit Metal Model Kit.
Gundam is the titular mobile suit of Mobile Suit Gundam. The Gundam was incredibly advanced for its time. Built from lightweight Luna Titanium Alloy, its frame was both lighter than that of Zeon's mass-produced mobile suits and much sturdier, able to shrug off a Zaku II's machine gun fire with little to no damage. Its offensize power was above and beyond that of the Zeon Zakus

No glue is required - but I recommend the following tools:
1) Tweezers to help bend the tabs that hold the model together
2) A Straight edge (such as a thin metal ruler) to held bend parts where necessary (I found the laser scored fold lines made this easy to do without the straight edge - but I can see it being helpful)
