INTRODUCING THE ORANGE BULLET
Experience the Estes EST7295 Orange Bullet Flying Model Rocket, a remarkable creation by Estes.
A HISTORIC DESIGN
In 1961, the innovator Vern Estes designed the first Estes model rocket that was available as a complete kit, the Astron Scout. Prior to it, however, a prototype known as the Orange Bullet was created. This initial design utilized metal weights at the fin tips to adjust the center of gravity, allowing it to tumble gently instead of descending nose-first after engine burnout.
AN ICON IN MODEL ROCKETRY
The Astron Scout has sold tens of thousands of kits, defining the industry and inspiring future generations to pursue careers in technical fields. The Orange Bullet represents an essential part of the Designer Signature Series, making it a must-have for serious model rocketry collectors.
